Safety Footwear
The Red Fort Workwear Safety Footwear, Product Code RFFW – 121, is designed for industrial environments where protection, durability, and comfort are essential. Certified to EN ISO 20345 and IS: 15298 (Part-2):2011, this high ankle safety shoe is built to meet the S3 HRO SRC safety class. It is suitable for use across a wide range of demanding work settings, offering full foot protection and long-term durability for industrial professionals.
Material and Construction
This safety shoe is crafted from full grain Crazy Horse leather, known for its water-resistant and rugged characteristics. The outsole is constructed with a dual-density PU-rubber nitrile combination using direct injection molding, providing strong adhesion and shock absorption. The anti-perforation textile insole adds flexibility and resistance to sharp objects, offering greater protection without the stiffness of steel midsoles. This makes the shoe more comfortable for prolonged use in active work conditions.
Protective Features
The shoe is equipped with a 200-joule composite toe cap that provides protection against falling objects and compression without the weight of steel. As a non-metallic component, the composite toe is also ideal for areas with metal detection. The S3 classification includes antistatic properties, water penetration resistance, and energy absorption in the heel area. The HRO marking indicates heat resistance of the outsole up to 300°C, and SRC certification ensures high slip resistance on both ceramic and steel surfaces.
Ergonomics and Comfort
Designed for all-day wear, the high ankle design provides additional support and stability on uneven surfaces or during heavy lifting. The breathable upper material helps in maintaining foot comfort during long shifts, while the padded collar and ergonomic fit reduce fatigue. The lightweight composite components and advanced sole construction make the footwear ideal for physically demanding tasks without compromising on protection.
Safety Footwear
This safety footwear is recommended for a wide range of industries including construction, mining, agriculture, petrochemicals, heavy industry, mountain environments, automated production lines, and large installations. It is also suitable for specialized sectors such as chemical processing and oil and gas operations, where both chemical resistance and heat tolerance are critical.
Care and Maintenance
To maintain durability and safety features, clean the footwear using only soft brushes and water. Avoid exposure to harsh chemicals such as alcohol, gasoline, or oil, which may damage the leather or sole materials. Store the shoes in a dry, clean area at room temperature when not in use. Regular maintenance ensures continued performance and extends the life of the footwear in tough work conditions.
