Fire Entry Suits

The Fire Entry Suit by Red Fort Workwear, Product Code 16, is a high-performance protective garment designed for extreme fire entry and firefighting operations. Engineered for use in environments with direct flame contact and high heat intensity, this suit offers a reliable combination of advanced safety features and user comfort. It is suitable for individuals between 165 cm to 170 cm in height and meets the critical demands of professional fire brigades and emergency responders.

Constructed with a total of 9 specialized layers, the suit features an outer shell of aluminized para-aramide fabric combined with insulation layers and a flame-retardant polyurethane membrane. The inner lining is stitched with Nomex and Aramid felt fabric to enhance thermal protection and durability. This multilayer assembly effectively prevents the infiltration of liquids and ensures that steam is vented out while maintaining internal comfort and heat resistance.

The design of the suit consists of a two-piece configuration that includes a coat integrated with a hood and a trouser with harness and shoulder straps. The hood comes with a golden reflective visor, double protective glass, and dual fastening using metal zippers and Velcro for secure and easy wear. It also features a dedicated space for accommodating a breathing apparatus, making it suitable for use in enclosed or toxic environments.

The trousers are equipped with regular braces, an adjustable waist belt, and a metal zipper to aid in ease of dressing, especially over boots. Steel-inlaid leggings provide strong support and protection for the feet, preventing entry of heat or debris. The included gloves are five-fingered and have a liquid-resistant membrane at the wrist, designed to be worn over inner gloves for added thermal shielding.

The suit package also includes shoe overcoats with double fasteners, ensuring full foot protection during high-heat exposure. A designated pouch is provided for storing the breathing apparatus. Weighing under 8 kg in total, the suit is lightweight for its class and allows for flexible movement during critical operations. Its thoughtful ergonomic design ensures that the suit can be worn over regular workwear without restricting motion.

Certified to meet EN 1486 – Level III standards, the suit adheres to international benchmarks for proximity fire entry protection. It includes a clear labeling system from an approved certifying agency and offers a shelf life of no less than five years under standard storage conditions. Complete documentation including usage precautions, maintenance, cleaning procedures, and instructional media is provided with each unit, ensuring safe and effective use in the field.
