Linear Gear

Heavy-duty subsea linear gear actuator for precise and reliable gate-valve operation in deepwater environments with pressure-balanced protection and low maintenance design.

The Subsea Linear Gear is a heavy-duty actuation system engineered for subsea gate valves, designed to deliver precise and reliable direct linear motion in the most demanding offshore and deepwater environments. Its robust and simple internal architecture ensures high reliability, long service life, and minimal maintenance. The actuator is supplied fully integrated with its corresponding valve, reducing installation complexity and improving overall system efficiency.

The system is pressure-balanced with an integrated compensation system, making it suitable for ultra-deep subsea installations. It includes ROV override for manual intervention, redundant dynamic sealing for enhanced safety, elastomeric environmental seals to prevent seawater ingress, and a local mechanical position indicator.

With a large installed base and proven field performance, the Subsea Linear Gear is trusted for harsh subsea operations and offers long-term operational stability, low lifecycle cost, and dependable performance under extreme pressure and temperature conditions.
