Fisher™ easy-e™ Cryogenic Control Valve

Category Brand:

The Fisher easy-e cryogenic valve is a globe style, single-port, valve featuring stainless steel construction materials and fabricated extension bonnets. These cryogenic valves are designed to provide throttling or on/off control of liquids and gases at cryogenic temperatures as low as -198°C (-325°F). When required, these rugged valves can reliably provide tight shutoff for special applications within the chemical and hydrocarbon processing industries, such as certain liquefied natural gas services.

The Fisher™ easy-e™ Cryogenic Control Valve, engineered by Emerson, is a high-performance globe-style valve designed to deliver precise, reliable flow control in cryogenic and low-temperature applications. Built upon the proven easy-e™ platform, this valve is specifically engineered to handle liquefied gases and cryogenic fluids such as liquid oxygen (LOX), liquid nitrogen (LN₂), liquid hydrogen (LH₂), and liquefied natural gas (LNG). Its extended bonnet design provides proper insulation and prevents stem freezing by keeping packing and actuator components away from extreme cold. The Fisher easy-e Cryogenic Valve offers exceptional sealing, stability, and repeatable performance across a wide temperature range — from -196°C (-320°F) up to ambient temperatures. Combining rugged construction, low maintenance, and precise throttling capability, the Fisher easy-e Cryogenic Valve is ideal for industrial gas processing, LNG terminals, aerospace applications, and other severe cryogenic environments.

Feature of Fisher™ easy-e™ Cryogenic Control Valve

  • ENVIRO-SEAL™ packing systems provide an improved stem seal to help prevent the loss of process fluid.
  • The stainless steel materials, specialized seals, and extension bonnet are designed to meet cryogenic temperature requirements.
  • The metal-to-metal seat is designed and manufactured to provide long-lasting, reliable, tight shutoff at both ambient and cryogenic temperatures, without the need for periodic lapping.
  • Rugged cage guiding for the ET-C and EWT-C provides high valve plug stability, which reduces vibration and mechanical noise.
  • ET-C and EWT-C balanced valve plugs permit the use of smaller, lower-cost Fisher actuators.
  • Low flow requirements can be satisfied with standard restricted-capacity trim or with Micro-Form, Micro-Flute, or Micro-Flow valve plugs.
  • Extensive cryogenic testing during the development of the valve design reduces the need for expensive cold testing for most applications, which results in quicker delivery and greater value.
