The Damcos™ Local Power Unit (LPU), engineered by Emerson, is a self-contained hydraulic power system designed to deliver reliable, precise, and independent control of valve actuators and hydraulic systems. Built to provide local operation capability, the LPU is ideal for remote, offshore, and marine applications where a central hydraulic supply is unavailable or impractical. The Damcos LPU supplies hydraulic pressure to Damcos and Bettis actuators and can be configured for on/off, modulating, or fail-safe control. It features integrated control valves, pressure accumulators, filters, and a reservoir, forming a complete, ready-to-install unit. Operators can manage valves locally or remotely, with options for manual, electrical, or automated control. Designed for harsh and hazardous environments, the Damcos Local Power Unit is built with marine-grade materials, IP-rated enclosures, and corrosion-resistant coatings, ensuring long service life, minimal maintenance, and reliable operation in even the most demanding offshore conditions.
