High Performance RGD Elastomers are a premium line of specialized sealing materials developed for the extreme demands of the oilfield industry. These elastomers are engineered to perform in the harshest environments, including high-pressure wells, aggressive chemicals, and extreme temperature fluctuations ranging from -63°C to over +300°C, withstanding pressures up to 15,000 psi. Ideal for critical sealing applications, they are fully compliant with NORSOK M-710 and API 6A standards.

Engineered for Demanding Oilfield Applications:

From drilling operations to wellhead and downhole equipment, CAAST RGD elastomers provide reliable sealing under explosive decompression (ED), high H₂S concentration, and steam exposure. These materials are specifically formulated for long-term durability, helping to prevent failures that can lead to operational downtime or environmental hazards. Their ability to maintain elasticity and strength under thermal and pressure cycling makes them essential in offshore and onshore oil & gas environments.

Material Options and Temperature Resistance:

• HNBR 90: ED resistance, ultra-low temperature capability (H563-90: -63°C to +150°C)

• FFKM 90: Water/steam resistance up to +300°C, excellent ED resistance

• X532-90: High heat capability, from -15°C to +320°C

• AFLAS 90 (A340-90): High H₂S resistance, -0°C to +230°C range

• FKM 90 (V547-90): ED resistance, ultra-low temp -47°C, with enhanced chemical resistance

Each grade is engineered to perform in different corrosive, high-pressure, and thermal environments, allowing clients to select the best match for their operational needs.

Custom Sizes and Machined Seals:

CAAST offers O-rings and custom seal profiles up to Ø 3000mm, either molded or precision-machined without tooling costs. Machined seals are ideal for low-volume or urgent projects, offering rapid turnaround without sacrificing quality. Standards, Certifications & Support:

All elastomers are tested and validated according to NORSOK M-710 and API 6A guidelines for resistance to explosive decompression, sour gas (H₂S), and high-pressure environments.
